To help narrow the gap in between release of the expansion and the start of the first arena season at level 80 (Dec. 16th), I thought I would post an arena review as well as a short Rogue/Mage video (Me/Rocklee) filmed entirely from his perspective. The video was made in about 2 hours of filming. Watching the movie again I noticed it showcases the new Arena’s very nicely. The entire video was shot in patch 3.0 (just prior to WoTLK) so it’s level 70 with some 80 abilities.

This is by far my new favorite arena. Incorporating many new aspects to the environment and making it very complex. The first thing you will notice as you finish loading is that you begin the match below in an elevator shaft. (more…)

With the numerous amount of e-mail’s we have been receiving we have started to notice a trend where we would be answering the same exact question over and over. In this section, we will be answering these popular questions from you guys. Our main goal is to be able to answer a question you might have had without the delay of waiting for us to repond.

RogueRogue 2v2 Video
As some of you know, Akrios and I have been looking to make a video showing the RogueRogue 2v2 Comp in action. However, prior to the start of Season 4 queing up wasn’t exactly the priority of the top competition. That being said, we have scrapped all of our Season 3 Clips and will be making the video this season entirely out of Season 4 content.
With this video, we want to show the strengths of the Comp and strategies we use to make it successful. While it is definetly not the strongest comp in the game, it has very few hard counters (much less than most 2v2 teams I’ve been on) and is by far the most fun to play. The nerf to Cheat Death will very minimally affect this comp as well, considering if either one of the Rogues is at the point where they are Cheating Death the fight is already over. At this point, it is to early to speculate a release date for the video, so I’m going to quote Blizzard on this one and say "When it’s ready." =)
This week we have only been able to que one night – but managed to get from 1500 to 1968, before we started getting 1 point teams and stopped. After buying Brutal Gloves and Helm (for looks of course), I was left with 2k remaining points from the 5k I had saved up. Come server reset, I am looking to be at 2050 rating and buy the Brutal Mainhand once I get the additional 625 Arena Points…as my hopes of a Main Hand Warglaive have been long gone for quite sometime now lol.
