Rogue State of Stealth Week 1 (4/10/09)

S.O.S week #1 4-10-09

The Rogue S.O.S is something that I will be doing every Thurs/Fri  recapping the major events relating to Roguerogue.com and Rogues in general. Sometimes it might be a top 10 list and other times it might just be a ramble about how cool DK’s are and stuff.  Whatever it is, it will be the most current  information that I feel every Rogue should be up to date on.  So without further rambling…

First up this week is that we are giving away 5  sneaky limited edition Roguerogue.com T-shirts! The contest information will be posted later this week,  so you can find out how to get one.  Show you play WoW without  looking like you crave attention with an official WoW shirt!

I find most people that know our site in the RL are usually people who know the game pretty much begins at 80 and not bragging about killing a level 45 undead mage along side some guards in Darkshire, which always makes them more interesting to talk to.  Not to mention it looks badass :-D

Starcraft 2 Beta Oppurtunity

Battle.net account

You will now be able to store all of your games CD key’s onto your Blizzard account allowing you to download them whenever/wherever you are. One single login will allow you access WoW and the Blizzard store currently but will add additional titles to the list soon (SC2/D3). To get started visit worldofwarcraft.com its on the main page.

Sounds pretty good considering that by registering you also have a chance to be in the upcoming beta, apparently this isn’t an Opt-in as randomly select Battle.net account holders will get an invitation.  Make sure you click the check box though during registration. If you are chosen, your main page will look like this….

Good news to hear that development is of SC2 is continuing along well as I’m sure most you are looking forward to at least playing it casually. The good thing about this is that you DO NOT have to merge your account yet to check if you have received the Beta Invite as you have to type in more information each log-in. Which seems to be more of an annoyance at this point if you just play WoW. Did any of you get lucky enough?

Patch  3.1.0 – And What It Means To You

Once again we have compiled a list for you, the Rogue, reflecting all of the aspects in the upcoming patch that affect our class directly. In addition to Ulduar, this patch will bring us some interesting PvP and gameplay changes unlike anything we have seen in WotLK so far.

please note these changes are not final until the patch is released on live realms but will be updated as frequently as possible as things change.

PvP/PVE-Dual Specs

We’ve waited long enough and finally dual specs will be available once the patch goes live.  If you are unfamiliar with this, it will allow you to change back and forth between TWO specs for free.

-This includes Spec, Action Bars, and Glyphs.

-You will be able to change your talents before confirming your final build.

-Change between the two as long as you are out of arena and OOC.

-When you respec, your talents will only reset on the build you are currently using.

PvP/PvE-Swimming Mounts

All ground mounts can now swim underwater, their swim speed is the same as your normal swim speed.

ESL GLOBAL FINALS, PRM STILL A SOLID TEAM

It’s 5:00am right now and if you work nights like me or just woke up would be a good idea to head over to ESL and watch the tournament. I always enjoy watching Europe teams because they always take decent comps to the next level. Not to say anything bad about MRP and I’m real glad to see them doing so well, there are still a lot of games to be played and if you are reading this after the event has ended then the scores are final.

Besides rooting for SK, (And realizing I’m bad luck for you Serrenia whenever I watch you on stream) and The Cho’gal crew, I’ve been enjoying watching  Inflame’s Rogue Lock Pally team as Me, Rocklee, and Zizek made a RLP on Tourney Realm last night and have not found any comps that we are losing to consistantly after 50 or so games.
