My seventh video in the Eviscerate: Arenas series. The last of the expansion. Includes Shadowpriest / Rogue 2v2 as well as duels against top players. Some duels date back to the end of the recording of Eviscerate X, but the arena content is much more recent.
As usual I play mutilate, both envenom spec and traditional mut for some duels.

Ey, I seen alot of comments on WCM saying that you were dueling Neilyo for the last bit (RvR)Um, I’ve been out of the loop and really don’t follow much other than RogueRogue.
But to my knowledge Neilyo quit? O: Video was nice, less arena than I expected, good quality video,the vanish warstomp was perfect. Like another poster commented, I had more of a spriest rogue guide in mind when I thought of the video, but it worked out well in the end, idk why i had that in mind though, think it was an earlier post. Also @ the comment “Please use envenom spec for rogue duels” Ehhh, envenom makes the fight more complicated than it needs to be, Standard mut works perfectly for RvR.

@#17 – Those comments are correct. Neilyo started playing under the name Rythmic for a while, but I believe he’s changed again / quit / something.
Neilyo prefers the slower paced arena/pvp, like in TBC. Arena and PvP in WotLK is just horrible, so I see his point since I feel the same way.

@18. Neilyo is a faggot. Just an above average player that can’t accept a loss. Kid just talks out of his ass and blames game mechanics when he loses but when he wins, it’s pure e-peen godly skill. I must say, I have always liked your videos, Akrios, but Eviscerate X and this have let it down for me. I really loved 4 – 6 but this just doesn’t have the same feel for me. I think its that you have ceased to amaze me. Being high rated, I was able to view 4-6 and say that it was superb pvp and it was a pleasure to watch. Eviscerate X and this even more just seem to be depressing to me, because they don’t have that same wow factor you once had.

@20 – S3 is regarded as the most balanced/best season, so I don’t see the point you’re trying to make.
I do agree on the whole win/lose thing though, but tbh almost everyone is the same. RNG does also play a big part in WoW PvP, which is damn annoying.
It’s not QQ about the current season either, the current season is actually the BEST season in WotLK, but it’s still HORRIBLE.
Your statements are seriously flawed, you need to get a clue instead of sounding like a WotLK hero.

@28. Not trying to sound like a WoTLK hero. I’m far from it. Nor have I played the rating Neilyo has played. Yes, he was top rogue in a balance season. I commend him. neilyo had the right to ” bash” other players.
its simpel. what positiv rng had rogues back then ? ( they still have none )
none! no friggin proc which could destroy enemies or somethin.
mage had frostbite/impact, fucking warrs had mace stuns, rets, enhs and eles had dumb dmg procs which could 2-3 shot people etc etc etc.
rogues had poison resists, stun resists, vanish bugs.
really bad players had even chances to win because of rng. its still kind of that way, but back then it was just ridiculous.
and neilyo played with druids who also never had positiv rng.
and to mention that: prediction isnt rng.
players dont have a random number generator. they decide on themselves.
its luck then, but no rng.
but still you shouldnt be fucking run after wow players like groupies.
neilyo was a good rog. woundman is a good rog.
but they aint gods who never make mistakes.

Woundman was playing Nutzz at the time to 3k. Neilyo played it previously but wouldn’t play with lock as destro because it was too easily interrupted, Woundman played nutzz and had the lock go destro and got 3k.

With all respect akrios, but i strongly get the impression that you are not able to compete as fiercely as you used to before; and lets be honest, you have nothing on Woundman/Reckful/Neilyo. I get the feeling you are using these videos to prove to yourself/your audience that you are still up there with the pro’s. Don’t take this the wrong way but your last few videos seem come across rather forced.
Duels vs neilyo were nice albeit predictable, and except for the DK/Shaman fight i cannot say I was impressed by your 2v2 footage. If you are going to show 2v2 in a video, play a spec that is more fun to watch than lolenvenom, and show some fights that are hard for your setup (warrior/pala warrior/druid lol?.
Also for the love of god stop showing fights that are older than my grandmother and have 0 relevance to the current game whatsoever.
All in all a nice try, good choice of music, don’t care too much for the lolzooms at your vanishes on the other hand, and go play a spec that requires you to actually look at more than one target.

And has he has mentioned I don’t know how many times that he is REALLY busy yet you have the decensy to go around mocking him for using old clips? I think he makes theese movies for entertainment nothing else I don’t think he has to prove anything if you like him or not that is up to you but he sure is one of the better rogues and declining that is just stupid.. I liked the video aside from the arenas vs rogue disc priest on which enemy rogues go on akrios instead of his priest to prevent hims tacking dots and raping the disc… if i was playing on such rating i would never post such pointless videos in a movie, really if such games exist on such rating on US it says much…

To explain the double vansih for you guys, what happens is this: Neilyo blinds Akrios, Akrios vanishes the blind, and Neilyo is problably going to try to sap Akrios as he is out of combat after the Vanishblind. Akrios prolly got vansih into the prep macro, and therefore he vansihed the blind, prepd and vansihes again precisly after he vanishes the blind, and then he spam sap and gets Neilyo.^^ Sweet movie, not as good as usual but might just be me cos i dont like envenom. Keep it up Akrios!

To everyone who says the music sucks, you really need to broaden your musical taste. It’s not techno, it’s trance. The whole point of the trance genre is to help concentration and awareness. It’s all a load of rubbish but it’s very easy to ignore it and concentrate on the movie itself.

@ 71, Akrios has made video’s of rouge v rogue, I think the most famous due to all the children arguing over who is the best rogue is Akrios vs Neilyo.
He starts with a duel sap otherwise the duel is complete RNG. He also wrote a guide on what to do when opened on.
There have also been lots of short Rogue vs rogue clips in nearly all his vidoes including lots vs Unmercey as various specs along with Akrios getting opened on by verious glad rogues and rank 1.
I’m sure all these rogues, Akrios, Neilyo, Reckful,Unmercey etc etc laugh when people whine that one is better then the other especially when they star a lot in eachothers films and not so long ago were all in the same guild.
I think there all quite happy knowing there good rogues without having to epeen over who is the best.

I don’t recall any other Rogue movie (series) showing, duels this intense. Being at 3k rating doesn’t mean the footage in your movie will be entertaining and fun to watch. To give an example: The mage duel series in Feralas, there is one in Eviscerate Arenas V. and another in Evisc. 8 if I’m correct. Evisc. 8 Glaive Warr duel, even the TBC duel session vs Neilyo.

@number 18, i agree in some sort of manner, being blow up ina KS or somthing isn’t really fun, i liked the slower paced games where you had to get a good strat and no have pathetic people tunnel one char till they are dead, and no un skilled players hitting 1800 + not even interupting…

Very nice vid Akrios
I don’t think your skills are weaker now as some guys seem to think… it’s obvious that you seem quite busy nowadays but you’re playstyle is still great. And for those who don’t get it, these vids sure show skill, but their primary goal is to be nice to watch and fun to make. During the BC Akrios made almost all his vids as a mutilate spec which wasn’t optimal at all at PvP comparing to hemo, I think it proves my point.
I like the trance music you use, melodeath and other crap like that tend to be boring.
Only thing I regret a bit is that you always duel same classes. I guess it’s because dueling other classes is pointless due to lack of balance ?
