Hey akrios, what do you think about the new t10 bonuses, i think they are pretty lame, the 2’s one is too RNG and the 4rth one is useless

Rogue T10 2P Bonus – Gives your melee finishing moves a 13% chance to add 3 combo points to your target.
Rogue T10 4P Bonus – Your Tricks of the Trade ability now grants you 15 energy instead of costing energy.

The video was extremely well done imo. Curse and Gforce did a good job with the editing and gathering the right clips.

@ Mibr – Using Prep in duels is typical if you are fighting opponents you know what they’re doing. If you’re gonna rip on a Rogue video for using prep then why are you on RogueRogue.com?

come on guy’s prep on a duel it’s so lame yeah your duel opponent’s a realy loser when you don’t use prep,
your say prep on duel’s is lame ok, but it’s not lame a pala useing bubble on a duel or warri bladestorm ?
pls don’t say prep on duel is lame, prep its a big need vs skilled player’s.
and nice vid but need more diversion a full duel vid it’s little boring.

Any ability you can use in arenas is simply necessary to beat well skilled opponents.
Mages use Cold Snap, too. So what ?
Anyways. Curse did a great job on this video. Even though few people find duel vids boring, i liked it. Watching arena videos isnt more exciting with seeing the same tactics over and over again.
Im really looking forward to watching Eviscerate X.

You don’t need prep to always win, that’d suck due to it being on a 10 minute cooldown. You’ll prob need it against a frost mage and an ele shaman

When the hunter has his pet intervene, the pet is going to take the next attack the rogue throws at the hunter. The hunter was being smart and did this right as Cheap Shot was ending, where Rogues usually follow with a Kidney Shot. In this case, Curse was being smarter and as the crab intervened his master (the hunter) Curse uses a kick as a way to negate his KS getting taken by the crab.

When he kicked the hunter, the crab took the kick. This left him the opportunity to Kidney Shot the hunter now.

Well I’m not akrios, but 13% yea its Rng but its pve so thats a pretty big chance, especially comparing towards t9 2set and 40energy vs 3cp. So its a dps boost, and since it can ONLY happen on finishers, you dont have to worry about going over cp, with ruthlessness you’ll sit at a nice 4pt. 4set is pve again, basically a 30 energy diffrence where you GAIN energy. so you GAIN energy, lose threat and give someone a boost. that one is just simply amazing. But yea blizz is def trying to seperate pve gear bieng worn in pvp.

Very Intesting movie, alot of class variety, great overall. Yeah he used prep, I do myself try not to use prep, but its a cd all the same as others and against skilled opponents it becomes neccessary at times. Evasion well practically all the physical dmg classes have either magical dmg, or overpower, bleeds. Instants casts breaking vanish, sprint well why get kited? rogues deal damage and try to avoid it. Just so many things, and when evasion can be useless at times, vanish bieng unreliable atm, and cloak is just rng, no shame in prep, and this vid clearly demonstrates that.

Awesome movie, huge variety of opponents and skill

As for the whole prep thing, prep is must use cooldown against skilled opponents. Anyone who can play worth while is gonna force you to use your 2nd set of cooldowns, as seen with his movie.

I really enjoyed the duels vs the Hunters, as lately after quitting WoW I want to come back and actually play a Hunter instead of my Rogue

Yea I have to agree, playing a hunter is looking more and more attractive to me at this point. They have cool abilities that can be used in strategic ways.

What will determine leveling a hunter for me is whether or not Rogues get some buffs to Sub tree in patch 3.3 >.>

pala bubble -> 5min CD. warr BS -> 1,5min CD………… prep gives you back all your cooldowns, it’s not needed against good players, if you do need it then you should improve your gameplay.

mages use cold snap if you use prep, and imo prep is more valuable than a cold snap for mage.. if you use every CD that you have in arenas well… that’s your choice, some people think it’s lame.. including me, hence I don’t use prep in duels.

I never use prep in duels because i never need to, i normally defeat people with only like 2-3 multilates and 1 evriscrate and cheapshot ofcourse

I thought ppls were done with the prep crying back in s1/2. CDs flavors duels, thats how it actually is. I dont spend prep in every situation. But the chance of getting a vanish breached by a good opponent is higher then with an average player, and good opponents will also try to match hes cds with u (i.e Ice Block/blink for cloak, Lock´s port for cloak ect).

Great video Curse, my favourite parts were vs Suky, Unmercy and Gameking. And I respect you for being man enough to put in footage where you do make mistakes because I know that after 10-20 duels it doesn’t really matter that you make mistakes, it becomes quite repetitive

There is some true skill in this video, if you’re a good rogue you know what a good rogue looks like, and if you’re bad… watch and learn, Curse throws down with tact and control uncommon in a seemingly diminished class. Hopefully with the vanish-fix and possibly some passive abilities from sub (like camo)our class will reign supreme as the dominant pvp choice.

In times where it seems other classes are pressing one of four abilities (whichever comes off cooldown), rogues clearly have the highest skill cap and learning curve. GG Akrios/Curse.

^^ agreed, I just recently started playing wrath of the lich king and I found out that you don’t necessarily do good if you have say like a duel for example planned out and know what you’re going to do in the duel, unlike burning crusade where you did benefit from planning things out earlier. I find that now if you plan things vs a certain class, you usually get 3 hit and your plan goes down the drain so its better to just lolspamdamaj
