For Full Download (Worth it for quality)
(in order shown)- Akrios, Saeyon, Mahikosan, Unmercey, Bizzlesnaff, Buddhist.
**The download is higher quality than the stream, however due to the large file size I understand if people are hesitant to download =P It’s worth it…**
The way it all began was about a month or so back after talking to Mahiko about doing some editing for him, I suggested maybe doing a compilation video with a few of the other rogues from around here. I explained how it seemed unusual that they all knew each other, were almost all on the same server….yet had never came together for a video – enter Bizzlesnaff. With some help, a little bit of nagging, and over 400GB of video files the product was this.
For this video, I wanted to be able to appeal to all kinds of PvPers and WCM watchers. I put forth my best effort into making something that arena bums, bg’ers, world pvp’ers, machinama peeps, and duelists alike could all enjoy – while still adding my own kind of style to it. That being said, I know many parts (especially the music) may not be the majority’s particular flavor, and if that’s the case I’d suggest just muting, playing whatever you enjoy – and rolling along with it. However – for a blend of skill, entertainment, and overall quality I think this video has something for everybody.
Notes (*what is in the video*):
- 2300+ 2’s and 3’s Arenas from various rogues. (the Celex POV clips are from Mahikosans 3s team)
- Duels / BGs / World PvP / Joke Clips
- There is a large variety of music used, however the majority is of the hip-hop variety.
- Champp Jones makes a guest appearance in the intermission portion.
Music:
The Ecstasy of Gold – by Ennio Morricone
Dump the Clip – by Army of the Pharaohs
Reset – by Mutemath
The Horror/Ghostwriter -by RJD2
Ay Mami – by DJ Zeph & Azeem
Various – Street Fighter IV OST
Imperial Interlude – by DJ Zeph
Battle – by Gang Starr
On A Boat – by The Lonely Island
Moment of Truth – Gang Starr
I really can’t say thanks enough for the support (overseas, …yech) and back here, and while working on this video. To anyone left out of credits(cordellius, sluggoboyce, thebryce, FLEKZ!!!), who I forgot to mention, who has helped, who still makes this boring ass game fun, etc. know I have nothing but love for you.
- Bizzlesnaff
My Thoughts on the Video
Personally, I think it turned out great. Exceptional editing, entertaining with some really nice pvp clips. It was a fresh concept to make a rogue video with a few scenes from several known authors, and the third person perspectives were cool. Going in, using this kind of music obviously it isn’t for everyone, but still it’s something different and I think it flowed fairly well.
At first I’ll admit I was a bit skeptical about the project, but I’m really glad I was a part of it. Each of us really just did a bit of filming with Bizzle and sent him some of our own clips and this was the result, something a lot bigger than I expected. I hope you enjoy it. On a final note I want to thank all the people involved for taking the time to put this together.

Well, I watched the stream and all I can say is, the editing is nice, your part ofc, too, but the part of Saeyon,Unmercey, Bizzlesnaff, Buddhist where quite a bit boring.
The project overall is a very nice idea but the sets or the scenes arent that good
Comment by Woot? — April 6, 2009 @ 10:44 am
You should use 2 harddiscs. One where the game is and one where you record the scenes to.
And you need at least 2gb ram.

Akrioss, you made this video for me; I’m a huge fan of buddhist and mahikosan especially during BC but when Rogue Rogue.com came on the screen during the intro i just about lost it. The music was okay, not really my type but it went well. Akrioss you’re the man keep up the work i cant wait for the next volume of Arenas.

What settings do u use with fraps? I send this question a couple of weeks ago to the FAQ aswell but didnt get a reply on it.
Two harddisks as stated as above? 30fps I guess?
Think a lot of people would really appreciate an answer on this, Thanks in advance, a great fan and copycat!

Very nice video. I like the editing, the play style, the music, well, everything about it actually. I must say I really enjoyed the part around 16:15. I had to rewind that a few times ;D
I myself play a mage in PvP and PvE, but I’d like to get started on my old main again, (rogue) doing some PvP since I like playstyle of rogues alot. Any suggestions on where to start started? Partner, gearing etc? Haven’t done any PvP this patch with my rogue really.
Again, nice video. Hope to see more.
Best regards.

More than skill this skill that I’d just like to say the movie was outstanding. I really enjoyed how each piece was broken off into a seperate kind of piece. Like you had your skill, mixed with Unmerceys reflexes, and Bizzles style, and Buddhists humor, etc etc. Really enjoyable 5/5

Totally kickass vid, beginning was epic, had to mute the rap parts, but im on a boat is funny as shit lol.
Question though, i think i saw Murder equipped, I know bizzle was using webbed death, as well as the fleshshaper, between murder and the fleshshaper, what do you suggest as an off hand? Anyone have have input?

The intro was just amazing, but I guess that’s because I enjoy Machinama as much as pvp movies. It did really fit this masterpiece of a work. Enjoyed it all the way through, downloading it at the moment.
Keep up the good work, to all of you.

Truly epic. Been watching these artists for years (Akrios and Unmercey probably top the others) and it’s amazing to see what happens when you all come together. The storyline/machinima aspect really did create and epic feeling and I think the music (although I was sceptical) worked really well, particularly the song during Akrios’s scene. Keep them coming!

For PvP take the weapon with the highest TOP end damage for an Offhand. Murder is a 1.5 speed weapon with 306 topend, I would use that as a MH and Fleshshaper with 310 topend and 1.8 speed as an OH, imo.
Any corrections to this from anyone else is more than welcome =D
Comment by Faeyna (Kul'Tiras, Arena Realm 1) — April 9, 2009 @ 8:38 pm
This video was ABSOLUTELY epic! But what can you expect from some of the best known rogues out there, its kinda convenient right?
Highlights: Bizzlesnaff and his crew of Merry assbeaters AIRBORNE landing into WG and owning. Bizzlesnaff Vanishing out of a deaddrop.
I’M ON A BOAT!! WOOOOT! That made me laugh so hard I wet myself a bit, just a bit though /facepalm…proud to say it though!
Great work on all parts, that was the most entertaining video I have seen thus far and I cannot WAIT for Eviscerate 10 and others to come out…! Ciao
Comment by Faeyna (Kul'Tiras, Arena Realm 1) — April 9, 2009 @ 8:51 pm
ive got sinister revenge in one hand, so choice is between murder or fleshshaper for the other, ive heard fleshshaper for top end damage for mutilates and mureder for for more poison procs, so idk
Comment by Bendickson — April 10, 2009 @ 12:13 am
From what I have always understood, if you are doing PvP, you want the higher top end damaging weapon in your OH and the other in your main. IMO, I would put the Fleshshaper in my OH for the Mutilates, it will result in a higher amount of OVERALL damage which is what you need for PvP.
Now, IMO if you are going to PvE as well, then you need the FAST weapon in your main hand with the higher damaging weapon in your OH for the damage. Reason for this is so your MH hits with your poisons more, as your OH hits with harder damage during your Mutilates.
Again, I have learned from this site and other rogues along the way, any corrections or insight on this is always appreciated.

i’m starting to get tired of these movies! Not because they are not good or anything but its the same stuff over and over again. doesn’t matter if its akrios, buddhist, mahiko, neilyo or whatever, its just same playstyle and same kind of duels all the time! I bet u like making movies because the process of making one makes the game more interesting to play but for the love of god plz i beg u stop puting same clips all the time ( rogue duels, vanishing deathcoils etc etc). I have an idea , how about u make a movie showing outdated rogue specs in duels for example? The viewers in general in wcm are bored, i used to log in there every wednesday mrning and dl all i could find and it was always gr8 fun ( Eryx, perklunt, azgaz ) interesting things to watch. Now i decide to look at wcm once a month and what i see is a movie same like the one i saw two months before. Whats the point anymore? this is getting old! sorry if this post seems angry, i am not angry at any of the movie authors cause u invest time in doing smth u like, but plz try doing something new.

Okay so sinister revenge in the OH for big mutilates, but do i want fleshshaper or murder in my main hand then? Even though it wont matter in 3.1, when poison procs are freq based, is a fast dagger a remotely good idea at the moment for more poison procs?

Its filmed from the Arena Tournament realm aswell, where as you know you can make premaded level 80 geared characters. The human rogue’s are created that way i believe. (correct me if i’m wrong)
