another question , if i m not behind my oppenent and its “difficult” to go behind, what is the best thing i can do ? spam sinister strike ? vanish ?

This spec is good for arenas ? Agaisnt player with a lot of resi its too bad ? , i plays with a mutilate rogue.

Well i really like the mutilate pvp spec but i awfully miss the old hemo/shadowstep spec, is this sometime gonna be revived, or should we forget it for the time being? i know that new things have to appear and i enjoyed all these new specs but i really loved the old hemostep spec

Have you ever thought about Shadowstep fist/sword/maces 30/0/41?

This spec gives all the good stuff of sublety (except shadow dance) and combines it with the best pvp talents from assasination.

It’s in a way the same as most pvp rogues are atm, but except for mutilate, we get hemmor and shadowstep. We trade burst dmg for movability.

Also, reslience cant do anything about AP. With 15% more agility and 8% more Ap you should get more sustained dmg.

Any thoughts?

makes sense… just, yeah – on the ball and relentless. my stun lock is shit and i cant seem to figure out why so i usually go for fast blasts of dmg, ie ambush – CS – backstab – blind – repeat… but here im finding the full sub points lags in overall 1v1 pvp (for me this is, im sure others pwn just fine) is in its technical as u say ‘finesse’ it definately helps to farm honor kills and do loads of bg dmg.

but im sure as i get better at stunlocks and knowing combos the ShD will make more sense to me.

I’m currently rocking out in ShD. And yes, you have to be on the ball, its not a face roll spec for rogues. Muts simple, effective, and has room for error. (unless your fighting me as shd, )

Where as ShD is a lot more finesse. Once you figure out how you can lock someone down and not get off teh full ambush, evsicerate, ambush, eviscerate, ambush eviscerate, garrote. its gg.

A setup that I like to use thats effective against most classes is to CS>5pt espose armor> pew pew some, and vanish/restealth with out getting dotted.

Then cheapshot oncemore, dismantle, wait for your energy to build. then bust out with 5 pt KS and pew pew pew pew pew.

I’ve been extremely succesful against classes as ShD with out even having to break out the dance as well. being able to garrote and instantly 5 pt rupture on a plate wearer and insto vanishing is awesome. Just sit back and watch your opponents health drop down to half. and then open again. one things for sure I destroy mut rogues.
