I recorded most of these clips a few weeks ago. We haven’t had time to play much since then other than a few days this week, which luckily gave me a chance to finish up the video before the coming content patch. This is a compilation of 3.08 Arena as well as a few duels.
The arena footage consists of more mut rogue / frost mage content against some of the best players in the Rampage battlegroup.
I have one 3v3 clip in here but its mostly 2v2, as that’s the only bracket I’ve really focused on this season thus far. The clips were recorded between 2300-2470, and at one point we were the highest rogue/mage in the world.
Mage Rogue / Rogue Arena Strategy – I posted an article a little while ago about this, so if you’d like you can check it out here.
There are a few duels in here as well, mostly against mages (which I haven’t shown duels against in a while). This was really more to mix things up and isn’t the focus of the video.
Spec - is standard mutilate prep (see our spec page) and I opt to put 2 points in heightened senses, dropping one in find weakness.

** When I say smart, by the way, I mean that you’re not failing at your comp like other scrub arcane mage/rogues do by trying to CC the paladin and down the DK in the matter of a counterspell.

Akrios, you are my favorite person to watch play. I’ve been watching your vids since the very first one (Thunderfury days LOL!) and you still provide the most entertaining and tasteful movies of anyone I’ve seen. Haha, this video would be trash if it was after 3.0.9, Mutilate is terrible yet somehow still the only spec that does damage in PvP.

Gotta comment on mahikosan vanishing your blind in the 3v3, which just proved what quality you play against. Not sure if it was intended by him, but given it’s mahiko I’d guess it was.

muti was nerfed from +50% dmg on poisoned to +20%. u think it’s so terrible? play retri pala then.

I was excited to see this movie after running Frost Mage/Rogue combo for Arena this seasons with a little bit of a late start in hopes to see what you did against some harder comps, specifically ones we’re having trouble with.
However, i’m a little disappointed that none of these were included(Hunter/Holy Pally, Hunter/Resto Shaman, Holy Pally/DK).

This is irrelevant to your movie which i found quite interesting etc, u are undoubtably a very good rogue, however i have 1 question to ask u. I was browsing wcm the other day watching old videos again and i found a couple comments made by u on an old gameking movie and the first viral movie saying that they are average players showing average pvp. Now i don’t wanna rush to conclusions and thats why i took the time to post here but can u plz explain to me why u downrated em? Gameking and viral were over the top players ( in case of gameking he still is) and not only did they show incredible reactions in their movies but also inspired a lot of ppl to roll rogue/mage classes. Thank in advance.
